Our Ministers

The Reverends Lisa and Paul Klaus became Senior Co-Ministers of Round Rock Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) on September 1, 2009. Their dedication to excellence in all that they undertake is a model for the staff and members of the congregation.

The couple served as senior co-ministers of the First Christian Church, in Garden City, Kansas during 2006-2009. They also served congregations in Longview and Paris (TX) before and during seminary at Brite Divinity School.  Prior to entering full time ministry Pastor Lisa taught middle school science and Pastor Paul was a buyer and manager for building supply corporations.

Lisa is a graduate of the University of Houston with a BS in Biological Sciences and teacher certification.  Paul holds a BS in Speech Communication from Texas A & M, Commerce.  Both of the ministers hold Masters of Divinity degrees from Brite Seminary, Fort Worth. They were ordained in 2006. The Klaus's have a teen daughter, Sarah.  The family resides in Round Rock. 

Pastors Lisa and Paul invite people of all faiths to worship and witness at RRCC through Sunday morning church school and worship and the church mid-week Connection---a time of fellowship, study and music rehearsal each Wednesday. Throughout the week there are numerous programs available including groups for youth, women and men, and numerous opportunities of outreach.

Their passion to reveal Christ’s love and promises through sharing the Word in all that they say and do exemplifies the vision of Round Rock Christian Church….
